We specialise in the installation of decorative permeable hard surfacing which can be overlaid onto existing concrete or asphalt or fully permeable solutions for driveways, patios, courtyards, around pools, interior floors,showrooms, retail environments, custom designs are our speciality.
The concept of utilising decorative aggregates for flooring systems is not a new one, in fact the idea has been around for close to 50 years. The problem in the past was that these systems were susceptible to the damaging effects of U.V rays and were therefore not suitable for areas exposed to the Sun. This is particularly relevant here in New Zealand with our very high U.V.
We have spent years developing our own locally manufactured resin system which is very tolerant to the sun and other elements.
When the correct ration of resin to stone is used our system can be made fully porous / permeable which opens up a huge range of applications. This is particularly relevant for public space tree protection, our product allows the tree to breath and gather moisture naturally whilst the area underneath the tree can be used for many different applications.
